So I'm just getting into watches. Got this nice Republic watch for X-mas
Now I'm looking for a watch to coordinate with the browns and blue in my wardrobe.
I like this one !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

But I was curious as to where others look for watches. You'll notice those are very cheap. I'm looking to get anything pricey. Like $50 is going to make me think I would pass.
I also was looking for a nice blank-face watch as well. I like the idea of just a circle or square without markings with just the hands moving around it. I don't actually care to tell the time, I want a wrist accessory.
Edit: Where do people get decent watch boxes as well. Amazon doesn't have anything I like.

I have a black face and white face Timex Weekender. I absolutely love it them, nice and simple and you can replace the watch band in 5 seconds to make it look completely different.

Timezone.com is your place for all things watches. Yours is a near-copy of a Bell & Ross. Be careful watches can drain your Jalop resources!

Yeah, I figured it was a knock-off.
I'm okay with this. I don't care to have wads of cash strapped to my wrist.
Yeah...That site makes my wallet hurt. Got anywhere else that isn't so pretentious?

I wear a Casio G-Shock everyday. I love it. Comfy. Durable. Tells me what I need to know.

I got my watch box in Amazon, actually. It's this one , and it works pretty well for me. My only worry when I bought mine is that I wasn't sure if my watches would all fit in the sections (smallest watch is my Tag Heuer Formula 1 , while the biggest is my Casio Pathfinder ). I found that this is not a big issue since the case accommodated all of my watches without a problem. Read the reviews in the items section to help in your decision.

I should have specified that I would prefer a box without a glass top.
Nice watches. Perhaps one day I will be able to get a Tag Heuer or something notable like it.

Thanks! Yeah I'm not sure if there are any boxes in Amazon without the transparent top. BTW, my case actual has a hard plastic, not glass, if that makes any difference. And that Tag is actually pretty cheap compared to the more modern Formula 1's. The Casio that I linked, that's already a price drop compared to when I got mine 2 years ago. But yeah, a pricey watch does not necessarily mean it's good for you, so go ahead and shop for something else.
I'd recommend Hamiltons for the brown straps, these look pretty nice. I don't have one right now so I can't attest to their longivity (one of my biggest criteria in buying a watch), but if I am in the market for one, this is something that I'd consider first. Other brands that I'd recommend include Tissot, Swiss Army and Skagen (I own the last two for a few years now as my daily watches). But like I said, just do the research first, and if you can, try them out in a store.

Suunto Core
black ops, underwater demolitions, HALO jump
joking aside, I am a weightlifter so I have large forearms and normal watches look a bit small on my wrist

Yeah. I don't have that problem...
That's a big ass watch.
My Republic is rather large for my wrists, but as its was a gift, and one that I had requested I shall wear it anyway.

I bought a Timex Expedition recently ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00 ). I like the look and desperately like the date function, but it's currently in for repair, as the crown popped off within 2 weeks of wearing it. The strap was also pretty uncomfortable, and not great looking, so I swapped it out for a nylon NATO style strap (~$10).
I hadn't worn it long enough to see if the time was accurate or not (my old watch, a Fossil Twist ME-1066) drifts a minute every month or so, which I find to be aggravating, but not world shattering.
